May 11, 2004 - United Kingdom Patent issued to UniversalSystems

May 11, 2004, Minneapolis, MN -- UniversalSystems today announced that the UK Patent office has issued patent number GB2362066 covering the UniversalSystems Accelerator/ASP. A similar patent was issued in the United States in 2003. There are now four patents associated with the UniversalSystems Right Party distribution system: US patents number 6,285,752 and 6,621,900 and UK patents GB2347583 and GB2362066. Additional patents are pending.

The UniversalSystems Accelerator/ASP uses a unique approach whereby specially trained operators identify and distribute Right Party Contacts to our customer's best collectors or telemarketers (distribution is instantaneous and virtually unrecognized by the Right Party Contact). This approach provides a productivity improvement in the range of 30% -70%. UniversalSystems may be deployed on an existing dialing system, or, via a dialer provided by UniversalSystems.

Blake Rice, CEO and owner of UniversalSystems commented, "This new international patent follows a similar patent issued in the US last year. Our method and technology is recognized as a production and cost savings breakthrough by some of the Nations' largest creditors and collection organizations".
